Hi, I'm Molly
As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide what is commonly referred to as “talk therapy,” which is based on the belief that a person can develop new insights, self-awareness, and skills by exploring various topics with a counselor.
I believe part of my job as a therapist is to “hold up the mirror” for my clients and help them see themselves and their patterns in a new, and helpful, way. Additionally, I work to support my clients in identifying what parts of their lives are going well and what parts of their lives they may want to improve upon or change. And, when my clients do identify changes they want to make – perhaps patterns in relationships, thoughts, or behaviors – I support them in exploring how and when to make those changes.
I understand that it can be difficult to find the right counselor. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are in a warm, non-judgmental way. Together, we will:
-
Try to better understand you and what “makes you tick”
-
Work to discover insights about your life experiences, including the ways those experiences may have impacted you
-
Explore who you are and who you want to be
It is my hope that counseling will help you to gain greater clarity about yourself and your life goals, as well as empowering you to act on the insights you learn through therapy.
I have a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and over a decade of experience in the Mental Health Counseling field. For more information about my professional experiences, visit my LinkedIn Page.
